At 9:18 p.m., Frederick County 911 dispatchers reported an assault in progress on the 6600 block of Sea Gull Court. Within minutes, calls escalated to reports of shots fired, and city police requested fire and EMS units to stage nearby for safety.

By 9:22 p.m., dispatchers confirmed two victims had been shot—one in the chest and one in the leg—as officers arrived to find a chaotic scene and a large fight reportedly still ongoing. Witnesses could hear additional gunfire over the phone during calls to dispatch.

Authorities stated at 9:24 p.m. that the shooter had fled the area. By 9:28 p.m., command was established under BC901 (“Sea Gull Court Command”) as medics began treating two patients, both described as intermittently unconscious.

A Maryland State Police Trooper 3 helicopter was requested at 9:30 p.m. for a Priority 1A trauma patient. The landing zone was set up at Tuscarora Elementary School.

At 9:36 p.m., deputies advised they were seeking three persons of interest: two females, one male. One person on scene was evaluated for a medical emergency but refused transport, while another victim was stabilized and moved to the landing zone by Medic 318.

At 10:05 p.m., Trooper 3 lifted off for R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Fire and EMS units cleared the scene shortly afterward, but residents were advised to expect a heavy police presence for several hours as the investigation continued.
